Learning English is not "easy and fast". Some will advertise easy and fast, but that should not be your goal. Beginning to learn English is like learning to play guitar or piano: we learn a little, then add to it more and more, and the skill grows slowly as we practice more.
So, we should just expect to learn a little bit of English at the beginning. Start with simple English, and study and practice often, and before very long you can speak a lot.
The important thing is to study and practice, and be patient and persistent. Then your skills will grow.
Reading, writing, speaking and listening are the four main language skills. Also, we must learn vocabulary and grammar to develope those four skills. So, we might think of six basic skills of language.
Every lesson in this book will usually include some new vocabulary, and some grammar, put together into the "target language" of the lesson. That is, what the student must speak of the lesson. Most of these lessons are for speaking, and listening in conversation with each other. Reading and writing will be ancilliary, and should be done as much as you can outside of class, at your place of residence and in your study time.
I hope you enjoy this learning process. Make it light, and not heavy, and don't be afraid to try to speak. If our mouths do not open to make the attempt to speak, how can we learn? If we don't make mistakes, how can we learn. You may think you will sound funny or stupid when you first try to speak. But don't worry about that. Everybody will. Just take the risk of soundy funny and stupid, and then you can get correction from the teacher or other peers, and you will improve quickly. If you never open your mouth, you will never improve at all.
